According to a recent article by Men’s Health, prominent cancer researcher Dwight Mckee, M.D., has shared some simple lifestyle strategies that all people can follow to dramatically reduce risks of cancers. His studies primarily deal with lifestyle changes made after patients have suffered and beaten cancer, but are equally effective for those who have never been affected, as preventative care. One main factor touched upon is to beware of mold. A few types of mold produce Mycotoxins, as well as Aflatoxins, and both are considered “among the most carcinogenic substances known”, according to Dr. Mckee. Every other factor listed is of utmost importance to healthy living, but we here at Environmental Resources deal in the testing and assessment of potentially harmful scenarios relating to mold. If suspected, do not wait to contact a professional to address the situation, as the health of you or your family or co-workers depend upon it!
