Environmental Resources, a family owned and operated business, is committed to keeping South Florida’s homes and workplaces as safe and healthy as possible. Mold is naturally occurring and is prevalent in every ecosystem, most times as an environmental assistant. However certain types, such as Stachybotrys or Black Mold, are present in areas with a sustained source of moisture, amongst other contingencies for growth. These particular types are known for producing compounds, called Mycotoxins, which have been associated with numerous health effects, and are particularly damaging to infants, the elderly, and those individuals with compromised immune systems.
Warning signs of unwanted mold growth include musty odors, discoloration or spotting on walls, ceilings, floors or furniture. Health symptoms associated include, but not limited to, headaches, nasal discomfort, unexpected nausea, and disorientation.
Our sophisticated testing and inspection methods will provide the client with detailed information on the cause of concern, and how Indoor Air Quality can be improved, and ultimately sustained. Reports produced are intended to provide evident levels of possible air contaminants and assessments of personal health risks (not medical advice, which is only diagnosed by a medical professional) and provide a clearer picture of options for any specific sanitization or remediation plans.
